I accidently found Kelly mouthpieces on the www and was skeptical at first on a Lexan mouthpiece. I have 14 years of playing experience and was literally knocked out when my girlfriend bought me one. The feel is something totally new and there is no more warming up the mouthpiece in cold gigs. The look on my red transparent piece is totally hot, and the feel & response while playing is excellent! I fully recomend this mouthpiece and so does the Canadian Brass. I have two words for you...BUY ONE! You will not be disapointed :) I am ordering and 1c from Kelly next

This is a novel mouthpiece, and fun occasionally, but it's not the best, by any means. My section often uses them during cold winter rehearsals just so we don't have to freeze our faces of with a traditional metal mouthpiece, but other than that, they are fairly useless. They aren't any more chop conserving in regular weather than a traditional mouthpiece.

Great option for new players
Comments about Kelly Mouthpieces Trumpet Mouthpiece:
I bought this for my son who has been in middle school band for three years and is starting high school marching band this summer. It has helped him with his range and has cut down on the cold sores he gets as well. He absolutely loves his Kelly mouth piece.

My New Go-To
Comments about Kelly Mouthpieces Trumpet Mouthpiece:
My new 5C Kelly is a marvelous mouthpiece. Immediately comfortable on the chops, blows freely, with a wonderful sound. . I can take it from low F# up to double C, and it is great in every register. The tone quality allows me to either blend or project, as the situation calls for it. And my Jet Black model is cosmetically appealing as well. This has become my new go-to mouhtpiece!

GREAT!!
Comments about Kelly Mouthpieces Trumpet Mouthpiece:
This is a great mouthpiece. I just bought a 5c (for a 7c) and used it the next night it worked fantastic. I highly recommend this mouthpiece. With this mouthpiece I can go up to a double G and I'm in 9th! So for the price give this mouthpiece a try and see if you like it.

Great outdoor mouthpiece
Comments about Kelly Mouthpieces Trumpet Mouthpiece:
I got this mouthpiece (Kelly 3C) because I wanted a good trumpet mouthpiece for my outdoor mellophone playing. Its sound is very good; I was impressed by the sound a piece of plastic could make ;p. The only problem is that spit gets stuck in after a lot of playing, although that can easily be fixed (but it's hard to so that inconspicuously out on the marching band field.)Definitely a great mouthpiece for the money. 4 Stars because of the spit problem.

very good mouthpieces
Comments about Kelly Mouthpieces Trumpet Mouthpiece:
I saw the mouthpieces on there web site and I liked the look, but I though that would effect the sound a lot. Man was I wrong there sound as good as my gold-plated Bach Megatone 7c!! I highly recommend these mouthpieces they are very comfortable and look GREAT!

These mouthpieces have revolutionized outside playing. No more frost bitten lips. Quality of sound is not effected at all. Best accessory I've bought for my trumpet.

WOW
Comments about Kelly Mouthpieces Trumpet Mouthpiece:
When I ordered my orange mouth piece I was not sure how well it would work. When I first tried no one could hear the difference. It's great for Marching band but does brighten your sound up. The people in Jazz Band think its cool. I really like this mouth piece.

Like taking the donut off the baseball bat before you step up to the plate.
Comments about Kelly Mouthpieces Trumpet Mouthpiece:
If you are into mouthpiece practicing, the Kelly MP is a fabulous addition to your routine. These mps are precision made and to Bach's exact dimensions. They require you to blow properly and consistently and will give you a better workout than any other brass mp. If you have to play outside in poor weather you will love this mp as it never gets cold. The only problem you may encounter is a raw, wide open sound (I like it!) during triple forte playing.
