Excellent tone in all ranges

Comments about Denis Wick DW5533 Bass Trombone Cup Mute:

Great sounding adjustable cup mute.Plastic band around outside of cup needs to be glued by owner as it slips off after some use. Also, the small end of the mute has a felt-like mateial to help preclude mute dings, but it isn't heavy enough. The aluminium is thin here and dents easily. Buy a strip of thin cork about one inch wide and glue it on to solve both of these deficiencies. After doing this you have a wonderful mute. I've had mine for about 5 years now
