I play a YEP-321 Euphonium, and the valve oil that was included with it just was not up to par. Even 10 minutes after oiling a valve, it sticks again, even after washing it in case I over oiled it. Blue Juice solved my problem, I now oil a fraction of what I used to, and it is much more reliable in a performance. On the plus side, it helps clean the inside of your instrument. The only negative thing about Blue Juice is the unusual smell, but it is well worth it.

I've been using this oil on a daily basis for the last six months or so. I have been noticing gunk in my valves that has been described in other reviews. Another issue I had is I had to go 2 weeks without touching my tuba and when I came back to it my valves had gone from clean and shiny to dull and slow. I'm still using the rest of what I have now and my valves have gotten close to what they were since then. I'll switch to something else when I run out.

I have a new Yamaha 321S Euphonium. It is only about a year old, and has very close tolerance valves, especially #1. I have tried several oils to prevent sticking of 1st valve as well as speed up the action of all the valves.
I read somewhere that Blue Juice Valve Oil was supposed to work well on tight tolerence valves. So I purchased a bottle to try. Blue Juice seems to have done the trick! I haven't had any trouble with sticking valves, and appreciate the fact that it is relatively inexpensive, getting two full oz's for $3.99 vs. the manufacturer's oil @ $6.95 for 1.4 oz's.

Aside from the funk smell. this stuff is off the hook! I've tried others, even synthetic oils, and found myself coming back to Blue Juice. This stuff keep your valves very clean, (Yay! No more mess!) and it keeps my valves slick and smooth. It's also long lasting, so I find myself applying it to my horn once a week, maybe once every two weeks. BUY IT!!!

My son's Yamaha had a sticky third valve. This stuff works, the valve's action feels perfect and broken in again. I put it onto my Strad's valve's and there too, the action was a bit spry'er... It definitely sped up the reaction time of the valve. If you're happy with your return speed, this will definitely alter it. Great Stuff!!!

I'm a high school trumpet player and have always had problems with my valves sticking and scratching. The local music store suggested Blue Juice and i thought, why not? It works great!!!! I cant believe the difference. The smell is unusual, but other than that, great product.

When I bought my Xeno, the first thing I did was popped in a couple of drops of Blue Juice, and thats that! Great oil for valves with high tolerances.

I used blue juice over a long period of time. Then I ran out and my director had a new brand, I don't remember what it was, but when I used it, black build up stuff was on my valves. When I switched back over to Blue Juice, it started to clear up.

Alright this stuff right here works. It is by far the best oil that I have used in 5 years. It keeps my Bach Stradivarius very smooth. Wouldn't recommend it for the valved low brass. Well this is why I call it SECRET JUICE. I transferred it to a different squirt bottle and I let my friends use it but they don't know what it is, the cover says secret juice. No one but me knows whats in the SECRET JUICE squirt bottle. But overall one of the best valve oils I have ever used.

I first switched over to this oil based on a recommendation from a close brass-playing friend. I had always had troubles with the response of my second valve in particular. After using this oil, this latency was almost completely eliminated. Needless to say, I was very impressed. However, I feel that I need to oil my valves a little more often than I did before. But I consider this a small price to pay for the response this oil gives to my valves.
