Limited audio samples

Comments about Hal Leonard The Drumset Musician Book/CD:

Wound not recommend to beginners. Even though his book has tons of drum pattern notations, it has only 30 audio examples. So when you trying out a pattern you have no reference it you're doing it right(for beginner's ). You have to base it on one of the 30 audio samples. I'm speaking about beginner's here. It does have some different play along drumless tracks that a drummer could practice with. Good source of drum patterns for intermediate drummers though.

Comments about Hal Leonard The Drumset Musician Book/CD:

I just started playing this year, and this book is an excellent compilation of beats. Includes standard rock stuff, some blues based, and some funk based. This book will give you all the necessary basics to start playing along with different styles of music. An A+ for the money.
