Warwick quality, affordably priced.
The Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic is beautifully made and has that characteristic low growl for which Warwick basses are famous. As with all Warwick basses, this 5-string bass guitar features premium tonewoods throughout: an alder body and a 3-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The 5-string bass adds passive MEC electronics and a passive MEC J/J pickup combination. 4 control knobs (volume, balance, tone, and tone) provide flexible control in the studio and onstage. The highly sensitive dynamic response of the Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic lets you articulate the most gentle of nuances or slap it for crisp, punchy basslines.

Comments about Warwick Rock Bass Corvette Basic Passive 5-String Electric Bass Guitar:
I received my Corvette Active 5-string with Honey Violin finish in perfect playing condition. The action was great...nice and low, and ready to play. Frets are nicely finished with no sharp edges. The pickups are very hot and the 2 band EQ gives you the ability to get just about any sound you would want. My only problem with this bass is the finish. The honey violin stain is somewhat uneven and blotchy in some places. After seeing this, I would prefer the natural finish.
