Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Stiletto Studio-5 Bass:
Upsides: wide range of tones and great sound. Beautiful instrument; I get many comments on it. Price is right.
Downsides: heavy bass and neck heavy. Schecter tuners are not very responsive. Frets getting a bit green with age. Matching case is awful. Plastic is bent, guitar slides in it. Buy a different case! Truss required adjusting when it arrived and frets needed to be dressed to solve string buzz; factory said that it was common to need set up after shipping.
