Studio quality sound; onstage eye-appeal.
The Schecter Stiletto Studio-4 Fretless Bass Guitar is a sleek, sexy, sharp-looking bass loaded with features that count. Neck-thru construction gives it excellent sustain. A mahogany body gives it tone and resonance. EMG-Hz pickups and active 3-band tone circuitry deliver the output and dialability you need to handle every situation. The neck plays fast and smooth, and satin gold hardware--including Grover tuners and a Diamond Custom bridge--perfectly accents the beautifully figured bubinga top.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Stiletto Studio-4 Fretless Bass:
It just seems very well built. It feels solid, plays very well and sounds great for the price. I chose to buy this Schecter instead of the similarly-priced Music Man RAY34 fretless because of its neck through design and mahogany/bubinga combo, where the Music Man has a maple and bolt-on construction. It just seemed as a better valued bass.
Like all other instruments bought online, I had to spend half an hour slightly adjusting the string height and intonation but on this bass it was easy.
