Schecter Guitar Research

A special version of the classic Schecter design with hot EMG pickups.

The Schecter CV-4 electrtic Bass is hot looking and hot playing. An alder body with a sharp black finish offers a clean and modern look. The neck and fingerboard have that smooth, fast Schecter feel, while EMG pickups and active electronics offer enough sonic versatility to cover a wide range of musical styles.

EMG pickups
The MMHZ bridge pickup features a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output and CS design (ceramic and steel). The CS design has the punch and fullness of the older passive designs along with added brightness for a better-defined tone. EMG's Active CS Series pickups feature the same construction and have proven popular among bass players. Each pickup is fully shielded for a minimum of noise.

The SJHZ neck pickup uses a stacked design with ceramic magnets and a laminated steel core for increased output and lower noise.
