An amazing amount of bass for this sweet price.
The Rogue LX400 Series III Pro Electric Bass is wonderfully light and well-balanced. Rogue builds the LX400 Pro with a quilted maple top basswood body with matching veneer on the headstock.
The Rogue bass guitar's Canadian hard rock maple neck has a deep-set neck joint with 6 bolts for sustain comparable to a neck-thru bass. The LX400 Pro bass' superior construction features a 2-way truss rod, highest-grade Indian rosewood fingerboard, genuine blue abalone dot markers, graphite nut, and satin chrome die-cast hardware.
String this bass through the body or bridge. Deluxe electronics include an MM-style humbucker in the bridge position; an exposed pole-piece single-coil pickup in the mid position; active EQ; volume, blend, bass boost/cut, and treble boost/cut controls. Comments about Rogue LX400 Series III Pro Electric Bass Guitar:
The ADD claims Canadian maple wood neck - it's not the maple wood I am familiar with. This product is best used for music videos, like a good looking prop. The picture of it is not what you actually get.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Rogue LX400 Series III Pro Electric Bass Guitar:
I purchased this bass and I love it.
I'm of intermediate skill, or maybe advanced beginner.... something like that. I play Gospel and Gospel Bluegrass music. I have played and practiced with other basses in the past.... from a $50 second hand no-name, to a mid 70's Fender Mustang that the owner tried to sell me for $1300.
This bass is far and above both of them in my book. I took it out of the box, and so far I've not had to adjust anything other then to tune it. The intonation is spot on. The action is low and easy to play. Neck relief is perfect. Finish is flawless. It is beautiful!
And I love the sound as I can adjust for just the right tone for the style music I play. The electronics work flawless.
Honestly, I can't find anything about this bass to complain about. Being a hobby luthier who makes and repairs instruments, I am sometimes very nit-picky when it comes to judging others work. So after nit-picking this bass all over I can't complain.
I would have no problem recommending this bass to anyone. Regardless of their skill level.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
