Comments about Ibanez SR605 5-String Bass Guitar:
I had great expectations for this bass. Out of the box, adjusted the stringheight to my preference, and boy did it deliver! I've had 2 other Ibanez SR basses and a Fender Jazzbass. But I always come back to the Ibanez stock, and I have found my favourite in this SR605. It has it all in terms of toneflavouring. From deep sub bottom (nearly sinus like if you pick a bit up on the neck hehe), snappy funk grooving (I don't slap much but it sounded really nice tho), to mellow jazztone. You could do trash metal too i'm sure, if you're into that stuff. ;) Also it's lightweight which will be important when you put down the hours with it.
My best investment this year!
