Although it shares the violin body shape and body woods, and pickups, the Deluxe is a distinct departure from the Vintage models with a one-piece European maple neck, ebony fretboard, gold-plated hardware, and diamond-shaped mother-of-pearl headstock inlays. A dark, full-body binding that contrasts with the lighter woods of the body is another of the details that sets the Deluxe apart. Responsive and light in weight, it is truly a pleasure to play.

I nagged my friend Jonney to get the Hofner for a year, and when he got his from Music123 we all dropped dead. The bass has got to be the most iconic piece of musical gear ever made. I ordered my Deluxe and had it in 5 days. I now have the best tone and playability from a bass that I could ever have hoped for. It is Perfect in every way. I Love THE BEATLES, The HOFNER, and Music123. My bandmates and friends have made me the star of the show. I will get my 62 vintage in a few months, because every bass player should have at least 2 HOFNERS, RIGHT?
