Comments about Fender Sting Signature Precision Bass:

After reading several negitive reviews on this bass, I had to add my two cents. First off, this is not an entry level bass. It is a spot-on reproduction of Leo's first basses. Built with the blues players coming out of the 40's in mind so thay wouldn't have to haul around the "Dog House". Listen to those old blues tracks and you realize that this bass sounds the way it was made to sound. The bass is very unforgiving in the sense that if your technique is sub-par, it will come through in your sound. It will help you improve your technique if you take the time to practice your skills. I do not recommend this as your first bass and I do not recommend this bass to anyone who thinks it can be used for anything other than what it was intended for. Do us all a favor by not buying this bass and not writing a negitive review. Do buy this bass if you are into the era that it came from and the music that it made. Do your research and you will not be disappointed.
