Comments about Fender Road Worn '50s Precision Bass:
Firstly I am not a fan of the whole relicing or road worn trend. I only looked at this bass because I wanted the wider neck it has and at the time was limited with what was available with the wide neck.
I have to say that after I got over my initial feelings, I actually found this to be great bass to play. The volume and tone controls are very responsive, the pickup has a great sound and its not very heavy which makes it easier to play standing up for long periods.
I have used it as my main bass for some time until I got my customized G&L LB-100 and still use it for certain songs. I would recommend trying to overlook the road worn look and giving this bass a shot, because it really is a great bass.
