Comments about Fender CB-100CE Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar:
This is an inexpensive acoustic bass but not a "cheap" guitar. It is very cleanly constructed...no marks or extra glue...the frets are nicely dressed and the tuners are stylish and stay in tune...the neck joint is very clean and the neck is similar to my Fender Jazz bass...very fast! On its own, it sounds great...very "boingy" as I like to describe it meaning a great acoustic bright sound. The Fishman electronics sound great and the EQ allows this bass to be quite versatile in sound.I like the satin finish because I find it very scratch resistant. Really, the only "con" I can think of is the bridge pins...they are bright white and really subtracts from the overall look of the instrument...get some cream coloured ones...all in all, excellent bass for the money!
