This high-quality reissue is one of Fender's finest, and is every bit as valid almost 50 years after the original appeared. It nails THAT Fender sound - you know, the one you've heard on countless hits. It looks great, is very light in weight and very playable with a fairly shallow neck profile that will suit most hand sizes. Simple, reliable, easy to play and a very good replica of a real '62, just think for a moment-the Vintage Reissue '62 will more than suit most musical styles. A great bass-I know, I've had one for years. It's a truly great bass and is very highly recommended.

I've owned about a dozen basses and bought the '62 Vintage in 1987. Since then I've used nothing else onstage or just jamming with friends. As usual, Fender brought out another fine guitar. I think this instrument is one of the finest basses around, although I haven't played them all but I'm trying.
