Lightweight, but a heavy hitter!!!!!

By Carla

from Sheboygan, WI

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

This bass is slim and light, and the tone is AWESOME! I play a huge variety of styles and I have 3 bass guitars. Whether it's funk, classical, or metal, the Aerodyne Jazz Bass is my first choice every time. The action and playability can't be beat. This bass has it all - feel, tone and looks. Every time I pull it out, it turns heads. Bury me with my Aerodyne, this is the one I want to play for eternity!!!

Really nice

By Brent-USXA4

from Mokena

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

I tried this bass out recently and I really like it. It is really easy to play, it's light, the body is really nice, and the neck is so solid. The sound blew me away, I tried out American P basses and American jazzes and in my opinion this bass blew them away. It's so versatile, you have a P bass and jazz bass in one. As soon as I started playing it made me want it so much. I highly recommend it. I'm going to purchase one ASAP.

Unbelievable sound, beautiful bass!

By The Bass Babe

from Waterford, CT USA

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

I lucked up on this black beauty while visiting Goldsboro, NC. I was considering an American made Fender Jazz Bass. After playing this one, I can honestly say there is too much hype about the "American-made" label! This bass is the finest Fender has made available in my opinion. The sound is unbelievable, and it is so incredibly easy to play - no stress on the wrist or fingers. Fast fingering is a breeze with the Aerodyne J-Bass and with its irresistible good looks I just had to name it "Mr. Knight".

THE BEST ON EARTH!!!

By punkbass479

from LA, CA USA

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

It has great tone, because it uses both single and split coil pickups. The finish w/ cream edges makes it look like a classic. The neck is thin and smooth. There is absolutely nothing wrong w/ this bass. I recommend it for everyone!

very cool bass

By bassman

from Undisclosed

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

This bass is really great with the plain fretboard and no pickguard. The neck plays great.the p-j pickups are very versatile. I wish the were active though, but they still sound fantastic. the hardware is smoke chrome and very cool. This is one of the best looking basses out there. fender needs to make a hard case that fits this one because the shape is a little different.Overall you just can't go wrong with a Fender bass but this one is such a great design and great to look at as well. I have had mine almost two years and still love it. I say buy it you will love it.

Excellent Value

By Mike-JBKbd

from Augusta Maine

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

A truly awesome bass! Plays incredible right out of the box. Very light and comfortable to play. After bass shopping for the better part of a year and trying out several different basses this is a great pick! My only compliant is for the price it should come with a case or at least a gig bag. Other than that you won't be dissapointed!

Great Professional Bass

By s-L37Y7

from NY, USA

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

This bass is one of the greatest basses I've ever had the pleasure of playing and owning. Enough opinions. The high-ends sound amazing and the low-ends are just as good. You can get a nice warm tone when you play right at the end of the fretboard and you can get a great bright sound when you play at the bridge pickup, whichever you prefer. The radius of the neck and the action the bridge has (which is neither too low nor too high) provides for a superb slap and pop funk style. The P/J pickups give you the freedom to play almost any style you wish. Also lightweight, which is easy on the neck and shoulders when playing for a good couple of hours. All in all a high quality bass at just the right price, great for professionals, amateurs, whoever wants to buy it (although the price is steep for a beginner). The binding compliments the finish as well, and the carved top is great.

This bass is amazing

By poisonTHEwell44

from oxford, michigan

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

It brings such punch when I plug it into my Ampeg B2R. The neck was also one of the thinnest I've seen and such fast action. The one thing I didn't like to much about it was the strings seemed a little tense when they were in tune.

What a beauty!!!

By Ron Katz

from Cleveland, OH USA

Comments about Fender Aerodyne 4-String Jazz Bass:

I just purchased an Aerodynamic Jazz Bass and can not believe that it is a Japanese-made Fender. The quality of sound, looks, and features rival those of my American Jazz basses. It's stunning looks including the cream-colored binding, smoke chrome knobs and tuning machines and the unique shape are unbelievable at such an inexpensive price. I can not wait to play the Aerodynamic at a gig.
