A revolutionary bass guitar from a revolutionary time.

Fender's '60s Jazz Bass captures the essence of the decade; an axe as tuneful and groundbreaking as the decade it debuted in.

Many of the period-correct details that made the original Jazz basses so cool are spot-on replicated in this classic vintage-vibe beauty—especially the original offset waist, ultra-slim neck and pair of vintage-style alnico magnet Jazz Bass single-coil pickups. Whether it's early '60s Motown, British invasion and American garage, or later '60s heavy rock and soul, the Fender J-bass embodies a fantastic era in music.

Includes a gig bag.

Comments about Fender '60s Jazz Bass:

This bass is a very good incarnation of an early '60s Jazz Bass, then Fender's only JB model that lasted largely intact from 1960 until some changes in 1966. Today there are 30 Fender-logo Jazz basses available, which can create a dilemma; which one to buy? This one required only a little fettling to eliminate some fret buzz.
The MIM/MIA (production is shared between both countries) '60s' Jazz Bass packs an awful lot of bang for your buck; it's pure Fender, looks great, is very playable,of medium weight, sounds great with good strings (and of course a correctly-set quality amp) and is of excellent build quality. It will last a lifetime or more and will appeal to the price-conscious player, too. Highly recommended,it really is that good.

Comments about Fender '60s Jazz Bass:

This axe exceeded my expectations. The construction is top notch. The tones, and flexability of this bass, are wonderful. This much bass, for the kind of money music123 is asking, is a near steal in my mind. The bass equals, or comes close to basses in a much higher price range. I've been playing for 51 years now, and have had many instruments during that time; some were sold because they were lacking something, and others were keepers. This one is a keeper. Music123 is a great place to buy from also. They do what they say they will, and that's very refreshing in this day, and time.
