Wonderful Instrument

Comments about ESP LTD B-206SM 6-String Bass:

ESP is a company that is known for manufacturing very, very good instruments made for metal music, and this one is a perfect example. I have played bass for about 2 1/2 years now, been in five bands ranging from praise and worship to deathcore and to say that the rhythm section of a band provides the groove is an understatement. I currently play in a praise and worship band and a melodic hardcore band, and it sounds beautiful in both! The pickups are strong, fat, and crisp, and the adjustments you can make on the EQ of this instrument make it versatile for any situation. Any choice of strings should work great on this; I use Ernie Ball 2838 Slinky Round Wound strings and they sound great, but it is all personal preference. The neck is skinnier than the average bass guitar neck and it is very smooth, making the time spent on this instrument very enjoyable. The color of this woodwork is a piece of great art, and overall it is just a gorgeous masterpiece.
