Comments about ESP B-208FM 8-String Bass with Flamed Maple Top:

I had a Hagstrom 8 string and used it from 1969 to 1972. In the old days there wasn't a lot of use for the 8 string. I purchased the ESP in 2001 and have used it in live shows and recording sessions. It is great. Todays music makes room for most anything and the 8 string fits nicely. This one is especially nice due to the great amount of available settings and the EMG pickups.

Comments about ESP B-208FM 8-String Bass with Flamed Maple Top:

I have had the ESP B-208FM for a couple of months now and I couldn't believe how easy it was to learn how to play an 8-string. I was a bit apprehensive about buying an 8-string bass having never played one before. Now I don't think I ever want to play 4-stings again.
