Made to be played LOUD!
If you love it louder than Hell, Epiphone's Nikki Sixx Blackbird electric bass guitar is the axe for you. A pair of DeepSixx humbuckers give it thunderous output, especially since they are wired direct and have an on/off toggle as the only control. There's no volume knobāit's either full on or turned off. Another innovative feature is the Opti-Grab device which lets you solidly anchor your hand while picking at the bridge to get that hard drive. Black finish, black hardware, black pickguard, and iron cross inlays give it the signature Sixx look.

Awesome bass
Comments about Epiphone Nikki Sixx Signature Blackbird Bass Guitar:
I've been playing this bass for a little over a year now, and I havent had one problem with it. It has a massive low end and a very good high end. I've played the Gibson Thunderbirds before, and they're very comparable. The only thing missing on this bass is a built volume control. It would be nice to have it, but I'd just turn up the amp. For the price, this is one incredible, easy to play bass.

Pure Evil
Comments about Epiphone Nikki Sixx Signature Blackbird Bass Guitar:
When you think of bass players who is one of the first person you think of? It's Nikki Sixx and you know it. This bass gives you the opportunity to sound and feel just the way Nikki does when he hits the stage. I know because I own this bass. I have even played the gibson version and there isn't much difference. The Rawr sound is there, the look is there, the feel is there and the reliability is there. Improvements to made: adding one volume knob, straplocks, and including a case or gig bag. Overall I love this bass and Epiphone has won my respect for future purchases.
