I am VERY happy with my Dean. It arrived in perfect shape. All it needed was a tuning, and I was off and running. My only complaint is that there was no "owners manual" provided. This is my first bass with active pick ups and a little more insight as to how they work, how to tell when the battery is low and other general maintenance and troubleshooting issues would have been nice. Maybe Dean has one on their website in PDF form....

Got this as a starter bass for my daughter. Was very impressed with the fit and finish out of the box. The bass is light weight with good action and a smooth playable neck. The active pickups make it a powerhouse when you plug it in. Would recommend this Bass to players at any level.
