Comments about B.C. Rich Heritage Classic Mockingbird Bass:
I get this bass and out of the box I am so excited to have it. Sure enough i have a gig 3 days later where i decided to use this bass. sound check went smoothly. about an hour after sound check, its time for the show to start. I pick up the bass and nothing is coming out just a flat buzzing when i strum the strings. thankfully i had my old bass just in case (a friend of mine said BC Rich was notorious for electrical problems out of the box) he wasn't kidding. I took it to a repair shop because it was still under warranty. repair guy has it for 2 days and says nothing is wrong with it because its playing fine. I try it out its working perfectly. about 3 weeks after that at practice the bass 'dies out' again after about an hour of playing. i know what your thinking, ' maybe it was the chord or amp...NO. 2 different amps and chords when the bass died out, also i used my old bass on the same amps and chords and it was mint as always. took it to a certified bc rich repair guy this time and he couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. so i returned it. this bass is pretty on the eyes but it was a tremendous piece of crap. i will never buy a bc rich again.
