Voodoo Lab

Unique "octave up" effect that screams guitar hero!

Voodoo Lab's Proctavia is a fuzz/octave pedal that re-creates the unique sound heard on classic tracks like "Purple Haze." Proctavia is an exact replica of Tycobrahe Sound Company's Octavia pedal which creates a note an octave higher than the original. The sound of the Octavia effect can also be heard on numerous tracks by Jeff Beck, John Mayer, and Michael Landau.

Known for an aggressive, stringy sting, the original Octavia is prized by vintage stompbox collectors everywhere. Proctavia replicates the exact sound of the original and incorporates the same types of transistors, germanium diodes, and transformer-coupled output stage in its circuitry.

Features
  • Classic fuzz/octave tones
  • True bypass switching with LED
  • Hand built in the U.S.A.

The Proctavia gives you the outrageous tones heard on some the greatest solos ever. Get yours today!

It did not work for me - you may have better luck

Comments about Voodoo Lab Proctavia Pedal:

From the desctiptions and reviews all over the internet this looked and sounded just like that I was after and octave with fuzz. Sorry to say it did not work well for me at all and I tried putting it in many different spots on my pedal board with and without other pedals. The main thing was it is true analog and in my location I have AM radio interference so this pedal "really" picked it up more than other analog pedals I have ( clear as a bell talk radio) especailly when I touched the switch. But even with that aside when I could try it late at night without the RFI it sounded muddy and killed any sustain; the notes just died off so quickly. If you see the You Tube demos and others it sounds killer but...not here. I run mainly a Marshall Vintage Modern and Strat with Texas Specials. I did not even try it with the other guitars and amps I have. I am not saying do not get it just keep the box and everything inside so if it does give you a good sound you can return it like I had to do. I guess it happens sometimes. I am going to try a Big Muff Pi with wicker + micro pog - Good Luck
