I have a Pono ukulele with a passive pickup, and this was the only reasonably priced amp that advertised its input as suitable for both passive and active pickups. It works much better than I expected. Very happy with it.

I wanted a small amp for home use. This amp is built and sounds great. Use it at home,small settings,take it on the road for camp outs. There is no other amp out there in this price range that sounds this great.
