Comments about SKB PS-45 Professional Pedalboard:
Decent board. At first glance, the SKB PS-45 is impressive: its BIG. Its regulated power supply will run (8) 9V FX & (3) 115V wall warts. The manufacturer was difficult to contact; yes its made for Boss FX. A good portion of its floor real estate is occupied by a large power supply/ patch bay chassis. When carried loaded with FX pedals, its plastic casing bulges at the handle due to lack of reinforcement in the lid. But still, it looks real nice and it works okay. The worst thing is its manual: written for a kidnot a pro. It did not include a signal schematic for the patch bay, only a few setup examples. Its patch bay is quite useable AFTER you figure it out--seems to be a clone of an older Furman modelbut lacks the routing needed if you're running FX to your amp input AND stereo thru two amp FX loops. Ive had this board for 2 years. Now Im ready for one thats bigger, better thought-out and doesnt limit my setup. For the price, the SKB PS-45/ service are okay but should be better.
