This is an amazing little amp that is perfect for practicing or studio recording via a mic. It sounds good with both my single coils and my humbuckers and it is a loud amp for its size.
If you are looking for crystal clear jazz sounds forget it; I doubt that you will get those sounds with any super small amp like this. The speaker breaks up very nicely when pushed so it gives you a very nice blues sound. The overdrive is one of the best sounding overdrives I've heard in an amp this size.
The sound and the cost of this little amp makes it a no-brainer!

Great amp! I bought this for my son and had to tell him to turn it down a little already. You'ld never know this was a small practice amp. Overdrive sounds great too. Everything Rogue I've bought I'm very happy with. So far, we've bought 2 guitars, 2 mandolins, and this amp all Rogue and I'm shocked every time with the value and the the quality of Rogue. They're great for a first intrument or for travel when you don't want to chance dinging up your expensive items.
