Decent for a 15 watt, but a bit pricey...

Comments about Randall Kirk Hammett Signature Series KH15 Guitar Combo Amp:

Being a smaller amp, it only seems right to compare it to other amps in its category. The clean channel on this amp is surprisingly good, better than most 15 watt amps. While it is very trebly at times, it only has a 6.5" speaker, so what do you expect. The distortion is pretty good, but like I said, very trebly and crunchy. This is a great amp if your looking for a bedroom or dorm amp that is small and easy to move around, but the volume has to be cranked to sound alive. I'll also add that using headphones with this amp sounds very good. The distortion boost is kind of an overkill, but cool at times. There are more powerful amps around the same price range, and I would go for one of those, but if space and portability is an issue, this might be for you.
