Peavey

Technologically advanced and affordable guitar modeling amplifier.

With double the processing power, models and effects of competitive modeling amplifiers, the VYPYR dramatically redefines the power and scope of modern guitar amplification. VYPYR amplifiers are based on powerful 32-bit, floating-point SHARC processors that enable highly detailed, accurate modeling as well as vastly enhanced flexibility and features than ever before available in guitar amplification.

Featuring 24 amp channel models--both the clean and distorted channels of 12 popular amps for the first time anywhere--plus 11 editable preamp "stomp box" effects and 11 editable post-amp "rack" effects with dual-parameter control. Players can use up to five effects simultaneously. When used with the optional Peavey Sanpera foot controller, the possibilities further expand from 12 in-amp presets to 400 programmable presets, with an on-board looper and more. The VYPYR amp also acts as its own computer audio interface, with a built-in studio-quality USB 2.0 output on most models that is recognized by computers as an audio device. The entire six-model VYPYR Series features the easy-to-use Peavey WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface.

Comments about Peavey Vypyr 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I looked at different amps for a year. This was the best one for the money. It is also the 1st amp I have purchased in over a decade. Because of the price, power and all the effects built in; this amp is great for the beginner or a seasoned musician. I highly recommend this amp to anyone and everyone.

It's incredible

Comments about Peavey Vypyr 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I had initially purchased a 50w Line 6 spider 1 with 2 10's before I got this Peavey Vypyr 75. I used the Line 6 about 3 months, just wasen't happy with the distortions it produced, the clean channels were very nice though. I finally had a chance to check this amp out side by side with the spider as I brought the spider in to compare before I just bought or traded it. The difference to me was astounding. I used the rectifer model and EQ'ed both. The Vypyr was just much more robust, and more powerful . Every string was defined and distinctly presented even on the extremly heavy distortion settings. The 6 just petered out and got thin when adjusting the volume. The sound quality of the Vypyr is in a different league...for me. The Vypyr was incredible, so I traded the line 6 immediatly after the side by side demo. All the Vypyrs in the store had the area in the right upper edge where you could see through, I checked them, it must be the way it was designed as they were all exactly the same and irrelevent for me. The options on this thing a limitless and I am really enjoying this thing.
