I've had this amp for 2 years and i like it it's a really good practice amp, but it seems that once you turn it up to about 7 thats about as loud as it goes, i just can't really tell a difference it has awesome effects and has great distortion it's a good amp for the money
Been playing for over 40 years..several styles etc. I play a Les Paul and purchased this amp to start with....with intentions of purchasing another "better" amp later....well, I still have this one....and plan to keep it. It has unbelievable power, clean, great tone combo's and the characteristic of a tube sound, with the trans-tube technology...I have gotten nothing but very positive comments from all musician friends, including a die-hard "tube" amp "exclusively" other guitarist in my band. He plays a Fender Twin with a Strat., but the last Gig we played, he commented how he had to turn up to 5 and 1/2...while I "had to" keep mine on no more than 2 and 1/2..also he always said the solid state amps "never" cut through the sound...until..he heard my Les Paul and this awesome amp....it will about take your head off if ya let it!...he finally shut up and shook his head in amazement and I have heard him tell others how this amp has totally surprised him...The only effect I use while playing is an original Tube Screamer...the combination of my "Paul, Screamer and the Amp" is unbelievable...The tone controls are very responsive, and the amp features a cool "vintage / modern " amp switch..so for the "oldies" the vintage is good and for the blues, I use the modern mode...the reverb is great and also very incidentally responsive...I LOVE this amp.....and wonder why anyone would ever want to pay more $$ for another "name" amp...This amp is very durable and has NEVER given me a moments trouble...I depend on and trust it like the air I breath...really...why would I ever need anything else I ask?....I don't!....Try it out and compare in a side to side amp sound off...you will be surprised!.....
I bought this amp about two ago and it has remained a faithful amp to me all that time. I have enjoyed this amp and I wanted it from the time I saw it in the store. All of the different settings in the clean and lead channels allow you to play a wide range of musical styles, everything from blues to metal, which is great for people who like to wander between musical styles. The clean channel has a modern and vintage settings while the lead channel has vingate, modern and high-gain settings. The effects are excellent. The tremolo is a bit staticy and lacks depth controls but on the other hand the echo and reverb effects are top-notch. You could benefit from buying a wah pedal. An excellent amp with terrific versatility for any musical style.
This amp is GREAT!. I received it as a gift and I have nothing but good things to say about it!. The tone of the distortion is amazing, plus there is a switch for both clean and lead channels that allow you to play how modern amps are or play old school with the 80's type of sound. The effects are amazing the only thing you would ever need is a Wah pedal as it is much easier to just have the pedal then use the footswitch to switch between them if your in a hurry. Overall great amp and loud enough to get those cops on your back!
This amp is great! You got your own tuner on it and tons of different sounds. You can do almost everything with it. You can even hook it up to your computer.
