Some serious Peavey tone from a handy 1x15" combo amp perfect for gigs and rehearsals.

The MAX 115 bass combo amp delivers more bass in a space saving package. With 300 Watts of power that includes DDT speaker protection and a 15 inch heavy-duty woofer, the Peavey MAX 115 is ready for plenty of gigs and rehearsals. Another Peavey exclusive is the patented TransTube circuitry that offers you a gain boost feature that automatically turns off the tweeter for a more authentic classic overdrive sound. The EQ section includes a 3 band EQ and buttons for Punch, Mid-shift and Bright. The Max 115 also includes a unique psycho-acoustic low end enhancement that adds low end without taxing the speaker, a testament to Peavey's technology driven philosophy. Rounding out the features are a built-in chromatic tuner, XLR direct output with ground lift and 1/8" jacks for phones output and aux input.

It might be that Im a peavey man but this 300 watt amp is well worth 2 time the amount. Easy to move and sounds great. What else can you want for the money.

Comments about Peavey Max 115 II 1x15 300 W Bass Combo Amp:

The years of the monster heavy weight back breaking amp are gone! For many years I lugged around a bass amp that was hard to lift and carry into gigs just simply because that's what was needed to achieve the sound, punch and power for a bass rig but, not anymore. I have used Peavey amps for many years throughout my musical travels and, I would have loved to have this little powerhouse way back then. The quality of the Peavey line is ever present in this amp. For the size and the weight of this amp the performance that you recieve is phenominal! Just the right features not a lot of frill always a Peavey way of doing things. Peavey has always built products for the working musician that are affordable and quality made. I have been a musician for over 40yrs. and I am still using their products that I have purchased way back then, if that doesn't say quality I don't know what does. This amp is Great looking, Great sounding and is priced for todays musician. I highly recommend this amp, novice or professional you'll be glad you did. Check out the Peavey Millenium bass with the active electronics while you're at it, it's a winner too.
