Perfect bass amp for small gigs and practice.
If you're tired of lugging around heavy gear to small gigs and rehearsals try plugging into the MAX 112. Peavey's exclusive HyperVent system is designed to push bass to the front of the cabinet so the full bass output of the speaker is realized. Its 40W of power drives a heavy-duty, custom-designed, 12" Peavey woofer to generate ample volume for small gigs and rehearsals.
Wide tonal range
Peavey's exclusive, patented TransTube circuitry gives you a choice of 2 distinct voicings--vintage and modern--for covering a wide range of sounds and music styles. A semi-parametric EQ adds further tone-shaping capability with low, mid, mid shift, and high controls.
An all-purpose amp
Perfect for small gigs, rehearsals, and with its CD input and headphone output, it's a great practice bass amp, too.

Great value and louder than you'd expect
Comments about Peavey MAX 112 Bass Combo:
I've owned this amp for 2 years now and haven't been let down yet. It is very loud for it's wattage and has an excellent low tone. It's highs aren't quite there and could use a horn. If you turn it past half way up (it's very loud) it will give a little bit of distortion. Very durable. Probably one of the best deals on a practice bass amp that can do small gigs too.

Great sounding and powerful amp
Comments about Peavey MAX 112 Bass Combo:
I received this amp just today and I was amazed at the tone and volume from this amp. No rattles and very solid highs and lows. Is this really a 35 watt amp? It's loud enough to carry a small gig fairly easily. Probably even better when hooked into a PA. A great deal was made even better when Music123 gave a closeout price for a short time.

Pretty cool
Comments about Peavey MAX 112 Bass Combo:
I bought this amp to practice my Fender P-bass and ended up loving the vintage voicing so much that I started using it at gigs instead of my 100 watt Fender. It's great for playing pre-eighties rock, but the modern voice suits anything from jazz to metal. Don't be put off by the small wattage, I've used it in a hall with a 100+ audience. The overall finish is good, and the "hypervent" does work. GET THIS AMP.
