AS50D Awesome acoustic amp
Comments about Marshall AS50D 50w 2x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
I've been on a quest for quite a while to find an acoustic guitar amp that actually lets my guitar sound like an acoustic. This Marshall does the trick! I've always used Fender, Peavey & Vox for my electrics and never even considered Marshall - and especially not for an acoustic guitar. Boy was I wrong! The AS50D is compact & solid. Two channels with assignable chorus and reverb - both of which sound great. With the notch filter you can "tune" out feedback without sacrificing tone. Plenty of volume and a line out if you need more coverage such as running through a PA. Very pleased with this amp and my Alvarez jumbo has never sounded better! Too bad it doesn't ship with the foot switch (on/off for chorus & reverb).

the best acoustic amp
Comments about Marshall AS50D 50w 2x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
I mostly play my larrivee D-03Re through this at it is pristine. I like the sound of my acoustic guitar so I wanted the one that simply amplified the actual tone of the guitar without much interference. This one was the best. I tested the other brands, Fender, Behringer and Peavee, and while they are pretty good, Marshall has the market cornered on acoustic amps. Of course, if you want to add reverb and chorus you can and it sounds great as well. If you have a great sounding guitar and just want it amplified, get this one. I've had it for four years and have used it and moved it around a lot. So it's very durable too.
