Clear natural sound and the power to perform.

This Marshall AS100D Acoustic Combo Amp is the one to have. Specially designed for use with a variety of acoustic instruments with or without pickups. Its four channels give you the flexibility to handle piezo transducers or magnetic pickups, a mic for vocals or instruments, and external audio equipment via a phono input channel. Channels 1 and 2 have separate EQ and level controls but also may be linked. 2x50W stereo power gives you plenty of oomph for stage performance, and a balanced line out allows direct connection to a PA. The Marshall amp has a built-in digital reverb, delay, and chorus that add dimension to your sound, and a balanced parallel effects loop with level is included. Anti-feedback controls include a phase switch and notch filters for each channel with selectable extra notch depth for channels 1 and 2.

Features
  • Channels for both piezo and magnetic pickups
  • 2x50W of power
  • 2 - 8" speakers
  • Built-in digital reverb, delay, and chorus
  • Notch filters and phase switches for feedback control
  • Dedicated mic channel for vocals or miking instruments

"It's our PA!

Comments about Marshall AS100D 2x8 Acoustic Combo Amp:

My acoustic rock trio plays professionally through out Hollywood and Southern California. This Amp is our P.A. We run all three mics into this baby with plenty of controls at our finger tips. Phantom power, Built in effects, anti feedback settings, independent bass, treble. The sound is simply better than the high end P.A.'s we've performed with. But don't take our word for it. Record Producers such the Who and the Kink's Shel Talmy and Ami Hadani , Frank Zappa and Jimi Hendrix producer have been simply blown away by the full sound it produces on our vocals. We also run our two acoustic guitars through it's baby brother the Marshall AS50, and what a rich and warm sound produced by this little power house. We play all kinds of venues large , Medium and small, 4 times a week for over a year and these amps have never failed us. Easy transportability, and better yet, The fastest set up and tear down you could ever hope for.Wether you're a solo artist or have Three or Four musicians in your group, this is the real deal!!

If you owned only one acoustic amp... THIS IS THE ONE!

By B.Roberts

Comments about Marshall AS100D 2x8 Acoustic Combo Amp:

I have owned my Marshall AS100D Amp for over 7 years. Like a Swiss army knife, it has proven durable, versatile, and reliable over the years. Although dressed with duck tape in strategic spots, this amp will not die. I have owned three other acoustic amps, and particularly love the tone of my all-tube combo amp. However, the Marshall is what I reach for when I need one reliable amp to take on the road that does it all. The tone of this amp is crystal clear. Anti-feedback controls work surgically, and do not kill the original sound. The amount of inputs (guitar on channel 1, guitar or XLR mike on channel two, an XLR mike input on channel 3, and stereo tape/cd input on channel 4 provide a great degree of flexibility. Stereo outputs (XLR, 1/4") allow the amp to be easily interfaced to recording equipment or live mono or stereo mixers. The internal effects are adequate, especially chorus and reverb. Perhaps not as rich as a dedicated pedals, but having them built into the amp is convenient when I don't want to haul around everything I own. External effects plugs and level controls add versatility when needed. Individual volume (all channels) and tone controls (channels 1 to 3), as well as a master volume switch allow ample tone shaping for various acoustic instruments as well as the dedicated mike. Phantom power is also avaliable for the mike channel. I've never outgrown this amp. When I retrofitted my Taylor 814CE with a stereo jack to use both active I-Beam and passive M-1 soundhole pickups, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the AS100D accepted a stereo plug. With the push of a single button, channels 1 and 2 are linked together so each pickup can be individually controlled at the amp. At 46 pounds, the Marshall AS100D packs a ton of features and connectivity in a small footprint. I would recommend it to any guitarist shopping for a reliable, quality acoustic amp at a reasonable price.

Great amp

Comments about Marshall AS100D 2x8 Acoustic Combo Amp:

This amp is awesome. I have a 7-series Taylor and when I play through this amp I don't lose any of that awesome Taylor sound. I don't use a mic with it so I couldn't tell you how it sounded. The effect are okay, but I use separate effects. So I haven't really experimented with the effects alot.

This amp does it all

By Alan-PNHC0

Comments about Marshall AS100D 2x8 Acoustic Combo Amp:

I use mine with an American Deluxe power Tele. Run the Fishman bridge to the ASD100 "acoustic" input, run the magnetic pickups through a Tech 21 tri-ac to the "electric" channel. Sounds great and has enough power for small gigs. Also has a microphone input and yet another channel with RCA inputs so you can plug in a CD player or drum machine. I use it for an MT80S midi player. Absolute perfect amp for one-person-band, coffeehouse type gigs. Has twice the power of the AS50R and it shows. Digital effects are good but not great. At the new lower price, this amp is well worth the investment.
