Winning Combination

By Jeffocaster1958

from Conecticut

Comments about Marshall 1936 2x12 Cabinet:

I don't make it a habit to review things I buy, but the 1936 cabinet coupled with a AVT150 Head is spectacular. I bought them both together after I A/B'd the rig against a Mesa F-50, Dual Rectifier and Hughs & Kettner 1/2 stack. This cab sound better than the 4-12. Really! I'm 46 and have been playing/recording for over 20 years and have never been more pleased with a amp rig. GO GET ONE.

Amazing Sound!!

Comments about Marshall 1936 2x12 Cabinet:

What an amazing piece of equipment. I matched this cab up with my Valvestate 265 combo. wow . . . I'm happy i didn't sell my amp to buy a head and a 4x12, cuz just this cab is awesome. It delivers a lot of low end crunch, so with my original valvestate amp it totally rocks. I recommend this to everybody. It's a lot better then some Mesa, mono, cab.

After 25 years, only cab I'll use!

By Louis O'Neil/LevelHed

from Lewiston, Me. USA

Comments about Marshall 1936 2x12 Cabinet:

I am the guitarist in an all-original band called: LevelHed. (see: www.levelhed.com) I use two 1936 cabs, and a JCM2000 DSL50 head. My top cab is loaded with Celestion Greenbacks, and the bottom cab with 75's. I WILL NOT USE ANY OTHER CAB! I have tried Fenders, Laneys, Road, etc...... and have not found anything approaching the sound of my rig to my ears. Wouldn't it be nice to turn the pages of music catalogs past amplifiers because you know 200% in your heart that you are all set with your rig? Buy 1936's! I can use 1 and my head for small venues, and both for larger, and I want a second rig just like it! Then another, and another, and another!

Marshall JCM 900 1936 2x12

Comments about Marshall 1936 2x12 Cabinet:

This cabinet is an overall great piece of equipment. It's fairly light, constructed well, looks nice, and is quite durable. It has more than enough power to support a Full sized head, and is provided with some extra cabinet space which definitely lets those Celestions breath much better. I run two 2x12 cabinets powered by a Marshall 100/100 power amp , with a gt6 as a pre amp , Furman power conditioner, nady wireless , and bbe 882 processor and this setup slaughters all mesa boogies i've ever played through , i recommend this cabinet!
