Give your MoMark some volume and filter.

The Markbass MoMrak MVVL Bass Amp Module sports a line-out level control, in addition to the basic volume control. Now you can manage the amount of signal sent to the mixer or recording device through the balanced XLR line out. There are also 2 filters: the VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and the VPF (Variable Preshape Filter). These handy controls access a wide range of timbres, from vintage tones to modern hi-fi sounds. Many bassists find that these 2 filters are a practical solution for changing their sound in a simple and musical way, without fiddling with EQ controls. The bi-band limiter—which gives you faster response than traditional limiters—is more dynamic, especially when playing at high volumes.

The Markbass MoMark MVVL module is designed to fit inside the MoMark housing as a component.

Tweak up your sound with the pre-shape filter.

Comments about Markbass MoMark MVVL Bass Master Module:

The Variable Pre-shape Filter is very simple to use and it works wonders. More or less, it kills the "twang" by cutting the mids and gives you a pleasant, subtle (but very punchy & effective) deep sound. At the same time, it raises the highs and lows slightly. It almost sounds like you're using a different bass all of a sudden.

The Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator doesn't really do anything but muffle your sound. It's really no different than turning the treble knob down on your amp. Instead of the VLE, Marbass should have put in a limiter or simple compressor.
