Big-time, fat output from a bass combo weighing less than 30 lb!

The Markbass Mini CMD 121P is a bass combo amplifier that gives you fat sound with electric or acoustic basses. That makes the Mini CMD 121P amp perfect for rehearsal studios or small club applications. The Markbass Mini CMD 121P comes with a built-in Little Mark II bass head in the top rear area. Bassists will appreciate the Markbass-designed Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator and Variable Pre-shape Filter which help give this Mini CMD a warm natural sound. The Little Mark II also has a Neutrik Speakon combo jack output that accepts both Speakon or 1/4" speaker cable as well as a second 1/4" speaker out jack so you can hook up to another 8 ohm cab for a 500W rig. You'll also find a balanced XLR out, unbalanced tuner out so you can tune as you play without passing your signal through pedals. A Send and Return Effect loop protects you from losing your signal if one of your pedals dies or a cable in the chain gives out.

Markbass Mini CMD 121P

By rgee27

Comments about Markbass Mini CMD 121P 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

One of the challenges in playing clubs in San Francisco , especially the North Beach area, is finding parking. When you are lucky enough to get a space, it could be blocks from the gig. My goal was to find a one hand rig capable of covering small to medium sized un-miked gigs. Bass on the back and amp in hand ready to go. The Markbass Mini CMD 121P was the answer. 29lbs and 300 watts into a 12" speaker with tweeter. I purchased it to replace the Carvin BR515n which was only 45bs but took two hands to carry, The Markbass Mini CMD 121P produces the fat , punchy tone that cuts through the mix perfectly. This amp is perfect!

Best MarkBass Configuration...Period.

By Nightlost

from Undisclosed

Comments about Markbass Mini CMD 121P 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

I am fortunate to be in the position to buy whatever I really want as it relates to bass gear. I choose this combo with the second New York 12 cab simply because it is the most portable best sounding unit I could find. I was surprised because I expect to walk away with the 2 x 10 cab and a 15 below, but AB comparison of the 2 left me confident that this was not only better sounding, but far better portability. Simply amazing. Seriously, if you need more than this on stage your stage volumes are too loud. Any room that would require larger will have a PA with serious subs.

OMG-it's the schnizzle

By David Waldon

from Dallas, TX

Comments about Markbass Mini CMD 121P 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

I needed something I could carry that could handle playing in a live band situation and be loud enough to compete with the drums. This puppy did it-with the volume at 1/3 of max! Incredible. Really good tone, nice thump, handled my Modulus's 'killer B' with nice growl and thump. I love this amp-don't walk, run to get one of these today! I've had Eden, SWR, Ampeg in the past, and this beats them all, and I can carry it in one hand and my bass in the other! The controls on the back are awkward, but a small inconvenience since you can easily pick up the unit to see what's what.

Super Amp

By Ron Gochenour

from Eden, North Carolina

Comments about Markbass Mini CMD 121P 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

I first purchased the Micrmarkbass amp. I could not believe how good this little amp sounded. I thought if a little amp that small could sound so good, I could not imagine how the Mini CMD would sound. I bought the Mini CMD. It is unbieveable how good it sounds. Super clean punch, light, and plenty loud. If 50 feet by 100 feet is a small night club? Well, it will do the job and more. I will never need another amp, unless I go big time, and that's not likely. I Remain

Markbass nailed this one, it's how a bass amp should sound!

By pcohen

from St. Louis, Missouri

Comments about Markbass Mini CMD 121P 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

I own this amp. I use it with and without the Markbass 12" cab. It sounds deep and full. It kind of reminds me of a vintage 70's amp in a small packages. It weighs next to nothing, seems very rugged and the sound is fantastic. I've owned Fender, Phil Jones, Eden and Ampeg - the Markbass is by far the best bass amp I've heard. It cut's through and keeps it low without sounding tinny and also works very well with my accoustic bass. This combo alone would work for small venue. I typically play with 12" cab one side of the drummer and the combo on the other. People comment they can actually hear the bass. I also own the small combo with two 6". Try them, you'll like them a lot.

Markbass Amplifiers

By Ron Gochenour

Comments about Markbass Mini CMD 121P 1x12 Bass Combo Amp:

Markbass Amps, I think are something else. I first bought the Markbass Microbass amp. Puts out an unreal sound for a small amp with a six inch speaker. I now own the Markbass Mini CMD 121P 1x12 Bass Combo Amp. I'm not sure why they call it Mini. It puts out a sound that can sound as good or better than the other name brands. There are enough adjustments to make it sound about anyway you want it to sound. These amps are light and easy to carry around. Sure beats carrying a heavy amp that doesn't sound any better. The Markbass Amps and B&C speakers are top products. These guys know what they are doing. I Remain
