A great amp!

Comments about Line 6 Vetta II 300W Stereo Guitar Combo Amp:

I've been on the digital modeling bandwagon for a while and I'm happy to have made the switch to Vetta II. Before all you tube elitists out there start rolling your eyes, I will say that in no way is the Vetta every bit as rich as a tube amp. While the Vetta does its best to emulate the bloom and sag it just isn't the same - high gain models can sound a bit tinny depending on EQ. That said, the models are articulate, loud, and dynamic. I've read some users had to get different knobs from Line6 because the amp was so loud it was turning the knobs itself. I've not had any such problems. The effects and editing software are great thought the factory presets aren't very useable. The amp requires that you invest some time tweaking and building your own virtual rigs but it will be time well spent. Customtone.com is a great on line resource that allows users exchange presets - the software and site are free. If versatility is what you're looking for, and you are not one that suffers from techno fear, then Vetta is the ultimate answer. Great tones, an arsenal of effects, and endless possibilities are just a push of a button away. Just don't expect it to BE a tube amp.

Line 6 Vetta II Combo is a powerhouse

Comments about Line 6 Vetta II 300W Stereo Guitar Combo Amp:

Again Line 6 has the market attention on this range of amps. I have two associates using the Line 6. Great for live work and session. Only issue is the foot pedal is expensive and I believe should come with amp. Takes a while to get used to the pedal. It has some sweet sounds with any std Strat or Les Paul for the working player out there. The eprom sound modeling is good but hard to concur with what ever sound description they have labelled. Suggest use it and if you are happy with the sound play it!

Outstanding

Comments about Line 6 Vetta II 300W Stereo Guitar Combo Amp:

This amp kicks butt! No other way to put it. It has power to spare and sounds great. I use mine with a Line 6 Variax guitar using the digital connection and the sound combinations I can get are virtually limitless. The stomp boxes and routing options in the amp are amazing. It lets you run two different amp models simultaneously, either mono or stereo. I can't say enough good things about this amp!
