Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I read with interest the reviews from people who say the FloorPOD Plus has no tone, or has crappy distortion, or the EQ doesn't work, or it's noisy. I can only assume these people have no idea what they're doing, as I've got 30 years in the studio and on stage and have had no trouble whatsoever getting a wide variety of great sounds from mine. In my experience, you can give some people a JCM-800, a Paul and a board full of classic stompboxes, and they STILL wouldn't be able to get a tone! As for noise, I've used, among other guitars, a Tele with P-90's (some of the noisiest pickups on the planet!!) and I find the gate (used properly) works VERY well in quelling the hum... nearly as well as pro rack gating in the studio, and CERTAINLY far less noisy than a single coil guitar through a boutique amp with lots of drive!! The variety of overdrive sounds with the amp models included is not only impressive, but the quality of each is superb. I've never had an issue with the distortions being "muddy"...unless I WANTED them to be so. From a slight crunch to wailing screaming drive, everything's there for the taking... BUT YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET IT. In short... take it from a guitarist/recording engineer with over 30 years of experience... ignore the negative reviews here... this machine CAN give you some fantastic tones, direct or through an amp, live or in the studio.

Good pedal, easy to use, not great WAH/Volume pedal

    By Daniel-AmsAJ

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I bought this pedal about a month ago, and I am very pleased with it. It has many good effects, and an entire bank that you can customize for your personal use. The only complaint I have about this is that the WAH Pedal sucks. The volume pedal is ok, but not great. I tried calibrating the WAH pedal, but it stays a the same tone until about 3/4 the way back up to full, and then its like all treble. Not a consistent tone change. But besides that, I would recommend this pedal to Mediocre guitarists. If you are very experienced, you do not want a multi-effects pedal. You want individual pedals.

    my own floor pod plus

    By sofi

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I found out the Floor pod plus has more to it , you can be more creative at a cheaper price, it sounds great when using direct to a PA system or recording in pc using my presounus inspire. I was able to create a lot of my own effects in the bank memory, also easy to shift from clean to distort or modulation or combinations. The other good thing is that even though its made of plastic, its rugged and lighter.

    Find Another Effects Board

    By DMT

    from Virginia

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

The Floor Pod Plus (FPP) definitely does not live up to the hype. I purchased a FPP a few weeks ago and I wish I'd spent my money on a stompbox or something else. It does produce a few good tones with its wide variety of built in amp and cab models. But once you add some distortion (Drive) or tweak the EQ the tone too often becomes muffled - which is down right depressing. If the FPP allowed the user to add some crisp distortion (which could be controlled) and the EQ knobs actually changed the overall tone, it would be a worthwhile effects board. But it doesn't. The effects are pretty good, particularly the delay. But very rarely will one ever use most of them. I'm disappointed and will likely sell my FPP in the near future.

    Don't waist your money

    By Jean Godbout

    from Sherbrooke (Quebec) Canada

Comments about Line 6 Floor POD Plus Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

Don't waist your money, this Line 6 multi-effects sound terrible and it is very noisy. The instruction manual is useless (just like the effects). I bought this on line (none where available in Canada to my knowledge) and I feel that I lost 450.00 Canadian dollars. OK, the look is nice, the list of feature is impressive, it's seem well build, but they forgot to put the sound in it.
