Balanced tone and powerful projection that stands out in any mix.

Guitarists normally have to depend on a separate effect pedal to get the distinctive, warm overdrive sounds of a tube amp. Not anymore. The Ibanez TSA15H tube amp has a genuine Tube Screamer circuit, built right into the front end, for all the warm tube overdrive punch and crunch you'll need. The all-tube amp head features 2 - 12AX7 preamp tubes and 2 - 6V6 power tubes. The result is loud, balanced sound that cuts through the mix with plenty of full, meaty guitar tone. Built with rugged Ibanez craftsmanship, this guitar amp head is sure to last for many years, able to stand up to the toughest conditions of heavy gigging. Includes footswitchable function with Tube Screamer Overdrive, Tone, and Level controls. Ibanez TSA112C speaker cabinet and IFS2G footswitch sold separately.

Ibanez TSA15H Tube Screamer 15W Tube Guitar Amp Head

Comments about Ibanez TSA15H Tube Screamer 15W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

Great idea, look, and connectivity, POOR execution. It has a great clean tube sound, none like I have heard in a long time. Unfortunately, the distortion/overdrive is so weak, it almost sounded like an afterthought. In my book of sounds, it would barely pass as a blues amp at a stretch, probably great for country, but NOT a rock amp by far. Ibanez put a lot of thought in to it except for the overdrive channel because it really is a 3 channel head with great connectivity to all kinds of speaker configurations. Hopefully, Ibanez will fix the distortion channel to be more aggressive, THEN I would buy it again.

Flyin' Under the Radar!

Comments about Ibanez TSA15H Tube Screamer 15W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

It's hard for me to understand why this amp isn't getting more positive press. It's a really good sound with a great deal of versatility for a very low price! Maybe it's because Ibanez is not known for great amps.

I run mine through a 2X12 cab w/ one Celestion G12H and the other a V30 and can get 100+ db @ 8 ft. with the volume around 3 o'clock. More volume than that will just result in major hearing damage.

Very clean chimey sounds even up to near max. volumes and great bluesey to classsic R&R overdrive w/ the tubescreamer on.

All amps can be improved upon, and my opinion for this one would be for the "boost" function to have a variable level capability adjustable w/ a knob on the amp. Also, I much prefer to have some reverb (which does not exist on this amp). There's a simple fix for that...add a rvb/dly pedal in the effects loop to color the sound with a touch of reverb and slapback. With these two things incorporated, I'd give it a 10 and be willing to pay more for it.

The triode mode is a nice feature also to give you a 5 watt option and it sounds "fatter'.

This is a great sounding amp at a great price.... You gotta try it!!
