I was looking for a good practice amp with more than just the bare necessities. I also wanted something with adequate power for small venues. The SW35 has a lot of punch, good volume and is extremely versatile. Many of the features such as CD input, line out and effects loop send and return jacks put it in a class by itself. You usually pay more for so many features. Between the gain and equalization controls you can pretty much produce any sound you want. Finally, the on board limiter minimizes distortion. This is a high quality amp good for practice, stage monitor or even small venues.

Definitely a good investment
Comments about Ibanez SW35 35 Watt Bass Amp:
This was my first bass amp that I got a few years ago - and it's still going strong. Definitely loud enough to shake the house and plenty loud enough to jam with a guitarist if he doesn't crank too loud. I used to take this to band practice, but had to mic it through a PA.

nice but..
Comments about Ibanez SW35 35 Watt Bass Amp:
i liked it very much good kick, great sound at a nice price, thogh the only flaw i've found yet is that there are no bypass on the limiter which on one hand makes shure too keep of distorcion, on the other lowers output volume

Comments about Ibanez SW35 35 Watt Bass Amp:
This little amp can sure kick out the sound! I wanted something for practice, church and small venues, and this thing can do it all! Because of it's many features, I've used it for my keys, or even as a guitar amp! You won't be disappointed in this buy.

Great Amp
Comments about Ibanez SW35 35 Watt Bass Amp:
I bought this amp because I wanted something a little nicer than just a plain Jane practice amp. I am very happy with this amp. The controls are fairly sophisticated and allow you to create a variety of sounds. I especially like the feature which allows me to plug in a CD player and play along with the CD. Can also play along silently with headphones plugged in. It looks good and is well constructed. I would rate the sound quality with the best of amps. Volume is commensurate with a good quality 35 watt amp.
