Blends analog warmth and punch with 600W solid-state power.
The Shuttle 6.0 bass amplifier blends analog and digital platforms to produce plenty of warmth, punch, and a generous 600 watts of power for its size. The signal path utilizes a 12AX7 tube preamp with Genz•Benz active EQ and responsive signal shape circuitry. An optional footswitch is available for use with the Signal Mute and three Signal Shaping circuits. The power amp section is a high-power CLASS D module, which also incorporates a switch mode power supply. It has an effects loop, extended range input gain for active/passive sensitivity, a Limiter circuit, Speakon speaker outputs, full XLR direct out interface, aux, input, LED status indicators and more.
The Shuttle series from Genz•Benz also incorporates a highly innovative removable amp chassis design that allows you to pull out the lightweight amp head from its saddle and transport it inside a gig bag. It's a high-powered bass solution that doesn't sacrifice tone or power, yet gives you the freedom of easy transportability.

I really like what GB has done here. After playing through my buddy's Shuttle I immediately started to get an itch for one and decided to get it shortly after. Used it at a musician's bar (150 person capacity) instead of my EA iamp 800 and had both sound engineers and my bandmates tell me it sounded great. I played a Roscoe LG3005 and was running it through a GK RBH115 cab and an Aguilar S210 cab and had the master on 3-4 maybe and ran the DI out as well. Funky, warm and full is how it sounded. Fortunately the show was recorded with a live room mic and it was one of my best sounding recordings to date. I highly recommend it. The only thing I have a slight issue with is that you have to watch the input tube gain so as not to clip with active basses. I used a Qtron+ pedal which can spike volumes and make the amp clip if not careful. Other than that this is the best purchase I've made in a long while. Enjoy!
This little head kicks some serious butt! The tube preamp covers a wide range of tones, and the 600 watt power amp can take care of most any job. So why only 4 stars you ask? The silver knobs with the tiny black dot indicator. They just dont cut it. I have used this head in a variety of venues. In full light, they look real nice but in the dim light of most venues played, It's virtually impossible to see their settings. This is the only issue I have with this product which would otherwise be a 5 stars. My recommendation : Change the knobs!
