UPDATE - GK Neo 212-II
Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 212-II 2x12 600W Bass Cabinet:
As an update to my initial post, I purchased a GK MB500 head to run this cab and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It sounded like a totally different cab; so much so that I would say using the SWR 750x head with this cab renders the two virtually incompatible. It sounds ok but the real potential of this cabinet will be heard when using a GK head. Loads of power for large venues. Sounded as good or even better than a 4X10. This set up is awesome. I have new respect for GK products. Purchase the GK Neo 212-II with a GK head and you will have an ultra lite set-up that is crisp, punchy, unbelievably powerful with tons of bottom.

Totally Awesome
Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 212-II 2x12 600W Bass Cabinet:
I purchased the Neo212-II specifically to be paired with the GK MB210 Combo early Sept 2010. Together the sound was okay and loud enough to be heard over a very loud drummer. For 2 out of the 4 nights at my latest gig I used the Neo212 and MB210 as a stack and I would say the sound was adequate. However, for the remaining 2 nights I used the Neo212 as a stand-alone powered by my SWR 750x head. The sound was totally awesome. Deep fat lows and crisp highs if you set all your tone controls just right; and loud enough for just about any size venue. For an inexpensive light-weight unit I highly recommend the NEO212-II.

GK Neo 212-ll
Comments about Gallien-Krueger Neo 212-II 2x12 600W Bass Cabinet:
Well built solid cabinet that weighs around 50 lbs. 2 12 inch woofers and Paragon tweeter have a punchy, more well rounded sound then some 4 10 cabs, and much lighter too. Very easy to move to and from gigs. The removable casters (included) work well on solid surfaces. When using with a GK head with bi-amp capability, the sound is amazing. The bi-amp speakon cord is included with the cab.as well. For someone that needs a portable easy to transport, with adjustable tweeter and 600 watt power handling, look no further.
