Chiming tones and otherworldly effects.

The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress Effects Pedal gives you an array of critically notched and tuned filters that gracefully sweep the sound spectrum, creating shimmering, ethereal passages that are truly out of this world. Exclusive "Filter Matrix" mode disengages the automatic sweep, allowing manual positioning of the filter bank to achieve chime-like metallic tones and other unique effects with your Electric Mistress guitar pedal.

Great E-H sound

By Bill-gPWqq

Comments about Electro-Harmonix Classics Deluxe Electric Mistress Flanger / Filter Matrix Guitar Effects Pedal:

I love the sound from these E-H pedals. I'm not too great at describing sounds, but "big", "lush", "full", and "rich" are a good start. Just for the sound, I would give it 5 stars. I'm not so sure I'll use the filter matrix - just don't see much of a need for it in the music I like. I would give the pedal 5 stars, but it has a couple of drawbacks. One is that it is huge and takes up too much space. It takes the space of 2-3 normal pedals. The other is that it requires a 24volt power supply, which for me means another adapter plugged in somewhere. I also have another E-H pedal that requires a 24volt supply, and I wasn't able to run them both from the same power supply (my pedal board actually has a 24volt power supply), so I have to have the extra adapter plugged in. If you have the space and extra plug-in, it sounds great!
