Built for the rigors of the road.
The Egnater Tourmaster 212x is a full size 2x12" speaker cabinet that provides both a sealed back and partially open back design. The cabinet is shipped with a sealed back but features a removable rear center panel for partial open back design. With the back sealed you get tight powerful low-end. By removing the panel you add vintage style sweetness reminiscent of old '60s and '70s combos.

Comments about Egnater Tourmaster 212X 2x12 Guitar Extension Cabinet:
Not the best cab I've tried, but for the price it blows everything else away. I originally purchased this for my Mesa Express Long Head. But as with most Mesa's the tone controls did nada. The cab sounded like crap with that head... I sold that head, bought an Egnater Renegade 65. This combo delivers. Like a Marshall on steroids. More tone, more drive, more oomph and.... more bang for the buck.
Given it's a 2x12 cab it is quite large and heavy but it sounds sweet and very loud. The versatility of being able to open the back is like having two cabs in one! (It comes with detachable casters, one of mine has malfunctioned and is stuck on, it's been on flights across the atlantic however, and I don't have a flight case, which is most likely the culprit).
Would I buy it again? Yes.
Does it work for everybody? Depends on your head, you never know until you try it. The speakers can be switched out to better suit your needs for still less than other pricier brands...
Are there better cabs out there? Yes, but for 3-4 times the price!!
Compatibility: I think it'll work fine with anything that doesn't have useless tone controls and fixed annoying frequency spectrum ala Mesa, plus it has stereo and mono jacks in back which should cover most of your needs...
