A wah is simply a tone control you adjust with your foot with an on/off switch. I bought my first one used from a friend and it was borrowed and lost by another friend. I bought a new one and both consistently did what they were supposed to do. This wah is the industry standard and if perchance I bequeath it to a grandchild I'm sure that if by some fluke of nature it wears out my grandchild will not have to adjust to a wah that behaves differently.

Great pedal, I tell ya. I started using manual wah effects about 4 years ago, spending the previous 7 or so years using different types of "auto wahs". It might be me, but since I've owned 3 different cry-baby's I can honestly say..Each one has its own personality. They all work the same... Yet just a tad different. This pedal has always helped pull off blistering metallica solos and Disturbed rythms, as well as adding great attitude to my cleans. The only down side to the effect is that it doesn't have a control knob, and sometimes the wah can be awfully high pitched at high levels. But that can also be easily handled with your amp's eq's. This is a great addition to any set-up. Hours of fun and experimentation lead to really nice riffs and leads.

This pedal is great it has great tone, it's very easy to use, and it's very durable I've had for 10yrs now and I've used it at shows it's had different drinks spilled on it from the crowd yet it continues to have amazing tone. So if your looking for a wah pedal I'd recommend it and for the price you can't ask for a better one.

I play metal rock and blues and I must say using this pedal is fantastic, this is my second wah wah pedal and this pedal is durable, hasnt broke on me yet and Ive had it for a while now, buying this would be a good choice for the price range.

I just got this product last christmas and I am still experencing it's sound. It's a really fun tool to use when you are trying for the sound of let's say Jimi Hendrix. Great product and very fun.
