Solid Volume Pedal!

Comments about Dunlop GCB-80 High Gain Volume Pedal:

This volume pedal does just what a good volume pedal is supposed to do. It fully sweeps the range from max-volume to zero volume. The actual taper of the sweep is intuitive and easy to control, with no added noise or hiss. It's great being able to put this pedal in the chain without having to power it, as it is a passive pedal. As for construction---it's incredibly tough, easily the sturdiest pedal I own. Volume pedals have many critical uses, and the Dunlop GCB-80 gets the job done solidly. Place it before a long delay with some chorus and you'll get shoegazing volume swells, for example. My only complaint is that the toe-up position was a bit touchy at first---the volume wouldn't shut off entirely. After a few hours of usage, the pot wore in, and now it works perfectly.
