The DigiTech Screamin' Blues Overdrive Distortion Pedal is designed for guitarists who need a pedal that gives them total control of their tone and is highly responsive to playing dynamics. Playing the Screamin' Blues pedal lightly produces mild overdrive, but dialing up the gain and digging in hard makes it sing with ultrarich harmonics and sustain. Low and High tone controls give you the flexibility to boost or cut the bass and treble frequencies. The Level knob boosts the output level of your signal, and the Gain knob dials up the distortion. An Amp output on the DigiTech Screamin' Blues pedal goes to your amplifier and the dedicated Mixer output has a cabinet emulation circuit that lets you run direct into a mixer or recorder when you don't want to lug your amp along.

The DigiTech Screamin' Blues pedal is a fantastic pedal that provides distortion for some cutting edge playing. The 3 knobs (Volume, Low, High, and Gain) provide different ways to make your sound appear unique. I would not recommend this pedal for guitarists looking for a heavy distortion but those looking for a softer with a slightly harder edge should get this pedal.

This is a great pedal. It says that the harder you hit the strings, the more distortion you get. I didn't believe it, so I went to a store and tried it out. It really works that way, it's great. I use it with a BC Rich guitar and my bass. It works great with both. It's great if you need a distortion pedal for bass that's not too heavy. I hook it up with my other pedals (a Bad Monkey, DigiVerb, and a Digitech Bass Processor). I put it through with a Behringer BX600 60Watt bass combo. I live in Europe and I paid about $100 for it because of taxes and import fees, and it was worth it all. You getting a heck of a deal here.

I like to play a lot of jazz, but sometime I like to go to the other end of the music circle so I just wanted a decent priced pedal that was well made and could give me what I was after and the Screamin' Blues did the trick. If you really like to use pedals check this one out. Unless u have special needs this is worth the price and you will not be upset at spending $40.dollars
