I was so impressed by this digital wonder that I jammed on my Les Paul and Jackson until my fingers were literally raw. I wanted to play more!!! The drum effect was the best part!!! I tried most of the effects and played on several that were preset. It was good to be accopmanied by the drums in several modes. What a great inspiration for practicing!!! Several of my friends bought them after they heard me play.

I got this pedal and it was not worth the price. It should be 50$ tops. The effects on it were not top of the line quality and they did not work well on my guitar. I tried it on my friends guitars and it still didn't work that well. I would not buy this product unless you have tried it on your guitar in advance.

Comments about DigiTech RP90 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

The only problem I see is that you lose your self created presets if you need to reset to factory specs, but there's room in the manuel to jot them down for a reference just in case. Other than that, I can't say a single bad thing about it other than at first I wasn't happy with the tuner but I did the factory reset and it's been great for 8 months now. I contacted customer service via email about it at 8PM and by 9:10 am I had the reply in my email as to what to do. So, that told me all I needed to know about customer service and they get an A+ rating from me. The effects are all listed in the manuel and should you lose it, getting the pdf is just a few clicks away. With 50 presets, the combinations are staggering, like you have a studio full of equipment lined up to use at your discretion. Music123's price is excellent, and the DigiTech company usually has some kind of promotion flying around. Mine was killer, for the cost of shipping, I got a free DigiTech DG15 amp. What a great product with a great company behind it. I know Blue Oyster Cult's Buck Dharma has endorsed this brand and I see why. It had my Les Pal Junior sounding like I was playing through a Fender amp, Vox amp and a Marshall amp among others, literally sounding like I was playing through classic tube amps, it's that good. If I should ever break it, I'd get another in a heartbeat. Especially since it doesn't break the bank. I'm not sure how this would stand up to a raucous stage show, but who know's maybe it would.

Lotsa Bang for the Buck

Comments about DigiTech RP90 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

The RP90 is perfect for the guitarist who doesn't want to mess with hooking up multiple pedals and tweaking each one to get the sound he wants. Just plug in the multi-fx RP90 and preview it's presets, and I'm sure you'll find just the sound you're looking for already pre-set for you. You can always modify and save each pre-set as a personal choice ... so there's plenty to work with here. I'm a blues player, and have been happy with one single pre-set, combined with the pickup selector positions on my Tele ... and that gives me several distinct sounds perfect for the blues.

No matter what your style of music ... the RP90 offers a lot for the money!

RP90 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal

Comments about DigiTech RP90 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

Definitely a good value for the price. I've had a Zoom for almost 20 years and it Finally gave up the ghost. This Unit was my choice for a replacement, has a great sound, good selection of the basic effects I use. One feature the zoom had I miss is the ability to select the effects mix for each effect individually, this seems to only allow an overall effects mix. It works though. good for the price.

SO REAL!!!

By

from THORNTOWN INDIANA

Comments about DigiTech RP90 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I purchased this box mainly for the acoustic simulator and the wah fx. I only listened to those demoes, as i already had vs fx in my vs 2400. I more or less bought it sight unheard, so to speak. I was blown away by the realism of the sounds this box could produce. The reverbs sounded really good and, you can get such dripping wet sounds from it.Tremolo is so mello and, real i got that 60"s vibe. Overdrives distortion and fuzz are very warm and detailed.Choruses ,flangers and phasers are nice and shimmering, very clean.Delays are very good. This box isnt noisy or buzzy, even on my cheap strat with its weak pickups.Every effect in here is exellent. The only effects that are even remotely weak are the whammy, and the comp/sustainer, and they arent to shabby. My favorite effect is the acoustic simulator, i played pink floyds pigs on the wing and, it was spot on.Pretty much everything in this little box is. I play every style there is, and this box covers everthing .Sounds great in the studio, and live. I played it through my little boombox and it still sounded great. Also i was surprised that this box was pretty tweakable. My nephew purchased this box to when he heard some of my demoes i made with it, and he owns alot of stompboxes.Theres some effects i didnt expect to find in there like 5ths ,swells, whammy, envelope filter ,vibrato, and rotary. This wonderfull fx unit has inspired my muse, and i love it.

Comments about DigiTech RP90 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

Everything about this pedal is excellent. From the design of the interface to the quality of the hardware. This is a pedal that you can use. The presets are great and making your own more fun. Digitech will always have my business if they take such care on their low end, I can hardly imagine how amazing their high end gear is! I certainly would like to find out! Great Sound Well Made Beautiful To Boot! All ends covered here!

Worth more than you pay for!

By

Comments about DigiTech RP90 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This is easily one of the most amazing pedals I've ever played on. The sound is always so crisp and clear giving you sweet tones and effects ranging from the replicated warm, singing sound of early '50s rock and jazz to the screaming harmonic overtones of today's heaviest music. You can get EVERYTHING out of this sucker. Mesa Boogie, Marshall, and Fender Tweed are just a few of the amp models that live true to the tone of the real thing, and each effect (from wah, to yah, to whammy) is just as good as any other pedal you could ever buy. Better, in some cases. With a built-in noise gate, you don't have to worry about nasty feedback from monitors or radio signals, and the built-in drum kit not only is great for helping you keep time, but it works wonders if your drummer can't show up to practice. I would have gladly paid over ten thousand dollars just to get all the effects that this little wonder can replicate, but I only had to spend one hundred! This baby pays for herself before you even open the box!

Comments about DigiTech RP90 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

Great things do come in small packages. This thing has all you will ever need. The built in tuner is the greatest thing in the world. I would pay at least 50 for that alone. All Wha effects are worth 100 each. So bottom line it will pay for itself in spades. Buy It.
