This pedal is amazing! Once i got this in the mail i plugged it in immediately. It was so sic how there was distortion, wah, phaser plus more. It was so sweet how just this one pedal had that. But those settings are just like the songs he plays like voices intro, rise, intoxication, stupify, bound, and mistress. If your a guitarist and disturbed fan get this pedal you will not be disappointed, or if you just want to make your playin unique in a way get this pedal!!!!
I bought this pedal specifically because I'm a Disturbed fan and wanted to be able to play their songs and have it sound like the real thing. For that purpose, this pedal is perfect. I was very impressed with how the effects made it sound almost identical to the CD! However, I did not want to pay retail price so I ended up getting one that was slightly used. It's very solidly built and hefty in your hand. I would recommend this pedal for other Disturbed fans that want to play their specific songs.
I disagree with the guys that say this pedal can't recreate the tones it promises. Its pry there crappy guitars or amps. I have had great success with this pedal. Its perfect for what ever you want to do. I suggest however to play around with it to make your own tones, because there almost limitless. Also, you can go to Digitech.com and get a list of settings to mimic Dan's sound.
Actually, I'm not a fan of Disturbed, but as I know Digitech creates this "Little Tank"..I wanted to get one!!IT combines different kinds of effects in one..including Distortion, Sitar Synthesizer, Wah Distortion, Pitch Shifter, Whammy..etc. I think it's better than buying several pedals. Besides, the quality is very good!!
The weapon is one of the best pedals out there. Basically it has seven different types of effects which are all amazing and give the EXACT same sound like Dan Donegan. The coolest effect is probably the Phaser. You start off with a cool Phaser sound, but if you press and hold the pedal you will hear distortion gradually increasing in the background and when you let go of the pedal, the Phaser is muted leaving only the distortion. You can even control how long it takes for the distortion to reach maximum volume. The weapon is built like a tank, it sounds great and looks cool. The only problem is that the first time you plug it in, you will probably have to fiddle about with the amp controls to get the right sound. It should not take more than a few minutes. Get one TODAY!
This is a first-rate, all-in-one package of seven distinctive tones used by Disturbed's guitarist. There are three straightforward distorted tones, one sitar sound, one distorted wah sound, one clean phased sound and one semi-distorted tone. Of course, if all or none appeals to you, then don't bother. But having fooled around with several pedals, I think it's really great to have such a range handily available in one pedal. The individual sounds are high-quality, authentic and based on specific sounds heard on the band's albums. They probably sound best with a humbucker-equipped guitar but I tried all with a Strat and found the results acceptable. Adding to the value-for-money is that Digitech provides a small pouch for transporting the pedal and a power supply adaptor if you don't want to use a battery.
This pedal has it all and it sounds awesome!
This is the best pedal I've ever used.
