Just Fab
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
Just got the Fab Flange today. I wound up spending several hours with it. It gets great chorus sounds, spacy vibrato and nice flange, although I wish it had a manual knob to controll the frequency of the flange sweep. It actually works better than my 70's EH Electric Mistress Flanger with my other pedals on my "in front of the TV setup" that includess a 70's EH Plolyphase, EH Riddle:Q Balls, Tube King (new), Morley Wah,Vol.,Dist. and Diceworks Treble Booster going into a Vox Valvetronix amp. Guitars are an Ibanez 7 String and Ibanez S470. The EM has maybe a bit more mojo (also a tad more noise) but the FF seems a little clearer and works better with distortion, especially on flange settings. The FF flange sound is a little warmer than the EM, which seems more trebley and chimey (great for clean sounds though). It generates a bit of noise like most mod pedals do, but as I have a Hush pedal, it's not a problem. My only other quibble is that the regeneration control is a little goofy - it starts adding on the flange quite heavily at a certain point - not nearly as smooth as it should be. Oh yeah, the position of the controls is just dumb - very hard to see your settings and clumsy to adjust. Bottom line: I hate to say it, but it has replaced my beloved EM for the time being. It sounds great and has its own personality - not bad for the $.

pretty good on a budget
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
If you prefer to strum and pick on clean or light distortion, this is the perfect pedal on a budget. It's very light and user friendly. Solid housing and button so don't have to baby it. Adds just enough of that little "extra" you might be looking for classic rock or country. Just 1 problem. You can go through a lot of batteries. Recommend 9V adapter.

Good guts, Plastic case
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
Three years ago, I bought the Fab Flange. It just plain does the job. I've been down the mulit-effects road, and sometimes simpler is better. Although this is not dumbed down because it's priced so nice. It has three controls, and it modulates well. At slow rates, it adds depth and emotion. At faster rates, you can weird out every member of the family. And!!! You can send the cat out of the room, the weirder the faster.

Fab Flange
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
Great pedal, great sound, great price. I bought this and a Fab Chorus thinking I'd probably stick with the Chorus and just use them (but mostly the chorus) for recording and after the novelty wore off with both pedals, just put them away. I love this pedal and use it all the time. The subtle settings are great and very usable. I did find a slight distortion sound when one of the settings is higher - just roll it back and it's fine.

Robotic garbage
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
Well.. The search for a decent flange continues. Its cheap.. Thats what this pedal has going for it. The sweep is too narrow, and trying to fix that problem yields a terribly robotic sound. Enough said. There is no way around the robotic sound. It sounds exactly like the Fab Chorus....minus the robot sweep.

Nice pedal to experiment with bass
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
I've bought it, because it was cheap, so if I didn't like it, my loss wouldn't be big. But I really liked its sound with my bass. I can use it for some intro ideas. So if you want to experiment some flanger effect with bass, I can recommend it.

So much to do!
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
This pedal is awesome. The housing itself is very sturdy, its a perfect weight and nonskid, and it has great battery life. I got this for cheaper than list price used, and it sounds awesome. This pedal can make an echo sound and a wake sound and a vibrato like sound. Not every song uses a flange, but this was a hell of a lot of fun to play around with. Get one, or any other FAB pedal, the price is so right and the tone is amazing!

NICE!
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
I bought this pedal on a whim. I was very surprised by the quality of the effects. I highly recommend this product. I'm still trying to figure out why it's priced so low. I plan on checking out the other Danelectro FAB effects soon.
